The system tracks a client's position in the package chronologically: the second-to-last session triggers a 'payment coming up' notice, the last one triggers 'time for a new package' — sent to both trainer and client, never duplicated.
A cancellation policy with a real deadline
One 'cancel' button, and a time threshold (12h by default) decides the outcome — cancel earlier and the session is freed, cancel later and it's consumed. Computed in the studio's timezone, with closed settlement months protected from retroactive changes.

With 1:1 sessions, every client who leaves is a visible dent in revenue — the system catches the warning signs before the client decides for themselves.
Churn-risk radar
A daily job recalculates every client's status — active / renewal due / at risk / resigned. A client whose last session is older than your configured threshold is flagged 'at risk' automatically, before they disappear for good.
